The level of experience that these individuals brought to this clinic was amazing.  We were able to test our evaluation procedures and standards with dog teams representing vastly different regions of the United States.  We learned that many teams do things differently, bringing new ideas into the process.

We were able to conduct 35 tests.  We tested dogs at varying levels of training, those at the beginning of their training to dog teams already certify in their specialties.  We ran tests in Airscent, urban and wilderness Trailing, and Human Remains Detection.

Our work continues as we improve our testing and evaluation process.  We will implement modifications to our standards that reflect what we have learned over the clinic.  The majority of individuals that were involved in this process were here because they want a national certification to support their local certification process.

Thank you to all that participated in this clinic!
